Lately, I should be focusing on getting my work done.  But, with life, graduation, teaching, reading, and homework, it has been nice to let my mind go on vacation for a few hours each day to watch some Transformers Prime.

I began watching this show when the five part mini-series aired on The Hub back in 2010.  Even since then, I have been a huge fan.  Alright, I don’t own every action figure.  So, I am not the biggest fan but a loving fan just the same.

As I sadly found out earlier in February, this show is coming to a swift conclusion.

Transformers Prime was originally going to get four seasons.  Instead, to comply with Hasbro’s revision for the Transformers universe in accordance with the 30th anniversary of the franchise, Transformers Prime is going to be cut down in its prime.

To say I was irate would be an understatement.  I was bothered. I was without a doubt a disgruntled fan. I thought the cancellation was a terrible decision.

Now, I am at peace with how the series will end…even if it is only half a season’s worth of episodes. The half season to end the series is better than leaving Transformers Prime to never come worthwhile conclusion.

The air-date for the first episode is on March 22 at 7p.m.

This truly is the beginning of the end. Goodbye old friends. It was amazing while it lasted.

So, I guess all there is left to say is, “Autobots, transform and roll out.”
